Board of Directors at SWI Industrial Solutions

At SWI Industrial Solutions, our Board of Directors serves as the guiding force behind our mission. Acting on behalf of our true stakeholders—our employees and staff members—the board plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization. These dedicated individuals, made up of respected business professionals and community leaders, bring diverse expertise and a shared passion for making a difference.

The board is responsible for establishing policy, providing strategic oversight, and ensuring sound fiscal management. Their collective vision and leadership help drive SWI’s continued success as a mission-driven social enterprise. Through their efforts, we can provide meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, deliver high-quality packaging, kitting, and assembly solutions to our clients, and support economic growth in the Springfield, Missouri area and beyond.

Board Member Responsibilities

Fiduciary Responsibility

Board members at SWI Industrial Solutions uphold a critical fiduciary responsibility to safeguard the financial integrity and legal compliance of the organization. Each director is expected to act in good faith, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate a high level of care in decision-making.

In fulfilling this duty, board members must avoid conflicts of interest and always prioritize the best interests of SWI Industrial Solutions above personal or professional gain. This commitment ensures transparency, accountability, and long-term success in advancing our mission to provide meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities while delivering high-quality industrial solutions.

Mission and Vision

Board members are responsible for setting the mission of the company and ensuring that all actions are related to and adhere to that mission to achieve our ultimate vision for SWI.

Oversight

Board members do not participate in the day-to-day decision-making; instead, they set overall policy, based on the corporate mission and vision and they exercise an oversight function, reviewing the actions of corporate officers and executives.
